The Open Design City workspace is situated in the back of betahaus Berlin, at 19-21 Prinzessinenstrasse in Kreuzberg. The former warehouse space offers 150 square meters for you to learn how to design, build, and evolve your project.

As well as work surfaces, flexible space and the internet we have:

General Use Tools - Use of these tools included in flat rate space use

Drawing equipment
Textile design tools
Sewing machine
Screen Printing Kits
Soldering equipment
Bioplastic Station
Painting equipment
Creative toolkits (pens, paper, cardboard, playdough, dressing up box)

Power Tools - 3EU per hour, 8 EU per day contribution towards maintainence

Circular Saws
A table saw
Spray guns


Cargo Bike - 3 EU per Hour, 8 EU per Day for maintainance

Cool Machines

Maker Bot - 25 EU per Hour when Experienced, 50 EU per hour with teaching/supervision
CNC Thermocutter- 25 EU per Hour when Experienced, 50 EU per hour with teaching/supervision

Member Tools (offered by members - speak to them privately)
Oscilloscope - Sebastian
Welder, Metal Lathe, Pillar Drill, Metal Bandsaw - speak to Axel (Machinenraum)
