Counting down

As part of 48 Hours Neukölln – starting this Friday – Graffiti Research Lab Germany is premiering two new projects:

Light Rider, our mobile-powered audio-visual projection unit mounted on a cargo trike,

and

BlitzTag, the official release of our new projection software suite, with optional drawing modes from Laser, Kinect, & Smartphone input

Drawdio-Workshop auf der re:publica 2011

Am kommenden Freitag, den 15. April 2011 bausteln wir Drawdios auf der re:publica in Berlin! Ein Drawdio (von draw+audio) ist ein Bleistift, mit dem man zeichnen (draw) und Musik machen (audio) kann. Und in weniger als 30 Minuten auch von Löt-Anfängern zu bauen. Ein perfektes Spielzeug für Nerds und Nachwuchsnerds. Sylvia erklärt das hier mal:

Um 11 Uhr geht’s los — offiziell im Raum „Workshop 3″, aber ich werde vermutlich einfach im Foyer aufbauen, damit man nicht bis 12 Uhr fertig werden muss. Ich bringe die Lötkolben und Bausätze (19 Euro) mit.

International Yarn Bombing Day

A shout-out to all our yarn bombing friends out there.  We celebrated the day with some local Berlin knitters, decorating the street architecture in Kreuzberg, close to Kottbusser Tor.

GRL Germany member C3MY even invented the ‘Yarn Bomb Throwie’ for the occasion … instructable to follow.  More Pics
